I just spent 4 days in Paris. And I brought my brand new Yogo travel mat. It’s very thin, light and can be packed in almost every bag. And I even used it once.

The last supercraft kit arrived a while ago, but I only had a look at it today. This time its about felt and wool to do cool stuff for the kitchen. In addition, there is a little booklet for your seasonal recipes!
I am not sure yet what to create, but I wonder if I can use this piece of felt to make a mountain pillow that I have wanted to do for a long time!
I have made these stamps a while ago, but I had a problem with the glue. The glue I used before, never worked well. After using the stamps for a while, the glue did not hold any longer. I bought a new glue the other day and this one is really sticky. Perfect for my stamps. So here are the new products, three mushrooms and three flowers, including one of my favorites Linnea borealis, a violet and a snowdrop.
My newest acquirement is „Yellow Owl’s Little Prints“ by Christine Schmidt. I love the design and all the products from Yellow Owl Workshop. They make greeting cards, stamp sets, ink pads (I use them all the time) and many more.
This new book presents little workshops for you and your kids. It’s organized in categories such as Celebrate, Play or Wear. At the end of the book there are many templates you can use if you are not the best drawer (like me). I look forward to start a project very soon, maybe to print a Sweater for my nephew or make adorable labels for the next birthday child.
What a day! It’s cold, rainy and no snow around to make it cosy. I have a cold and Mr. K is sick in bed. It’s chilly in our flat and I am sitting wrapped in a blanket, drinking tea and trying to write an introduction to a paper on local adaptation and phenotypic plasticity in central and edge populations of ruderal plant species along elevational and latitudinal gradients. (What?). I know.
All that can help here is a steaming hot chocolate with cream! It’s the easiest thing to do really. Put some milk in a pan. Add your favorite dark Chocolate. I like the Chocolate, which is not sweet at all. Warm and steer it until all Chocolate is melted. In the meantime whip some cream. Pure the hot Chocolate in a mug and add the cream. Enjoy! But careful, the milk is hot. I always burn my tongue on the first sip because I can’t wait:-(
Are you a Pesto lover? Do you like different kinds of Pesto? And do you make your own Pesto from time to time? 3 times yes? Then this Pesto label stamp set might be the right thing for you.
I use an A4 blank printer label sheet, cut out a piece, put on the stamps and finished. There you have a wonderful label for your home made Pesto.
I usually don’t do this. Maybe this isn’t a classical new years resolution and I could simply call it a goal.
Last year I sold 4 stamps on Etsy! And I want to beat this. I sold my first stamp this year yesterday. A narwhale stamp. The parcel is ready to be shipped to the USA. Only 4 more to go. Go and get one!
Have you ever wanted to make your own Chocolate bar? It’s very easy. You need dark chocolate, butter or coconut oil and whatever you want to have in the chocolate. I used almonds, cranberries and apricots.
Melt the chocolate, add the oil or butter and maybe some cream. Cut the nuts and berries and fruits. Pour the melted chocolate into a flat form and put the nuts, berries and fruits on top of the chocolate. Finished.
The idea from the serendipity blog. There is also a nice way how to wrap the chocolate for a gift.
