I recently wrote about a tea seminar I’ve made. I bought a black tea and it’s my favourite tea now. It’s from the tea garden Idulgashinna in Ceylon. This tea garden has a project for sustainability in the tea production. You can buy the tea here: l’art du thé.
Post cards
Got my post cards today and I love them. The six motives are from field work I did in summer.
The good thing is you can purchase them for 2.50 CHF (exclusive postage). Just write me an e-mail which motives you like: aud@book-store.ch

Ovo
I also love Ovomaltine and couldn’t walk away from this 2kg box without buying it.
Astrid Lindgren
She is my favourite author. When I was a child I loved to listen to the stories my mum read to me and my sister in the evening. And the stories are so sad that we all ended up crying all together. I still enjoy reading her books from time to time. And I was always fond of the drawings by Ilon Wikland.
Celsius
In Alesund in Norway we found little glass studio where two women make their own glass. We were impressed and now we visite the shop everytime we come to Alesund and of course bring a souvenir.

Learnt yesterday:
There are two tea plants: Camellia sinensis from the Theaceae family. This is the Chinese Tea. Chamelia sinensis is smaller and grows at higher elevation. The other plant is called Camellia assamica. It has larger leaves, grows at lower elevations and is native in the Assam region.
