My new postkaffe
My new coffee from postkaffe arrived today. Blanca Rojas, Colombia from Drop Coffee.
When Mari and Aud are cooking #2
Tonight we cooked Chinese food and followed the reciepe from chinasichuanfood. These are very clear and easy guidlines for a successful Chinese meal. And our meal was completely vegan.
As soon as we fried the spicies the memories from my trip to China came back. Dear China I will come back soon!
A winters day
In December I went to the Kronberg. It was a sunny and very warm day. We could see the lowland under the sea of fog and behind the Säntis.
The analog pictures arrived
Finally, our analog pictures have arrived. And there were some pictures from our last trip to El Hierro and Tenerife.
Winter is back
Winter is back and Bergen is covered in snow. I walked to work today, because I love walking in the snow. Just love the sound of it…
The shelf
I have a shelf! Saturday started with shopping at the timber supplier and then picking a colour. It was clear from the beginning that it had to be orange, but we went for a bright orange.
Then planks were cut, sanded and painted. And we ended up spending Saturday night painting, making pizza, waxing skiis, playing guitar and singing. Tonight, the planks that had been painted twice on both sides were dry and could finally be put on the wall. Thanks for helping make such an awesome shelf!
Powder skiing
There was 35cm fresh snow this morning in Voss and it continued snowing all day. Nonetheless, we had fun jumping around in the snow. It’s not comparable to what Angel (see video) is doing, but it felt a bit like it…
A dream come true
I have always wanted to ski and be able to see the ocean. This dream came true yesterday. We went skiitouring on Gullfjellet, a 30 minutes drive from Bergen. It was a perfect day, sunny and ice cold. My fingers alomst froze and I had to shake my arms to get the fealing back. We started to walk and after a beacon training half way up the mountain we reached the top. When we finally looked back, we could see the Atlantic ocean! This was a very special moment, because I have always dreamed of this experience.
