Another beautiful autumn day in Bergen.
Sheepview meets google
Sheepview360 is a project to bring the Faroe Island on Google Street View. Durita who initiated the project has mounted cameras on sheep that walked around and take pictures from all over the islands.
Now google has reacted and has send cameras to take pictures all over the Faroe Islands. But the approach is different from other places. The pictures are taken from the back of horses, from kayak and even a wheelbarrow.

Life at 4000m
Life at high elevation is harsh and often a fight for survival. Strong winds, low temperature and snow in summer are common. It is therefore fascinating to see what species have adapt to grow at these elevations.
Today we did field work at 4200m. We had to walk the last couple of meters and I could feel the elevation with every step. We recorded phenology and I had time to explore the beauties growing in this harsh environment.
