This is Shawn the sheep and he is moving to London. He is not very fluffy because he is knitted with Lygra wild sheep wool. But the wool is 100% biologically produced in Norway. He is looking forward to go to London and hopes for green pastures and less rain.

It’s autumn here and after some days of rain, the sun is finally shining again.
A few impressions from the last week field.
I finally made it to the top of Bergen, Floyen. It was worth waiting for the perfect day to take this shot.
Perth should be visited in spring. The birds are singing and everything starts to flower. Here is a tiny selection of the colors and shapes that are found here. It’s like landing on another planet!

Does not really work…
Holidays in Håvoll are working holidays and there is always a lot to do: gardening, cutting wood, painting the house, the boat, the barn. And every year we come up with all the things we also want to do: build a patio, get a jacuzzi, rebuilt the bathroom(!), get a new boat, buy a canoe, create a new forrest and built a watermill to produce power.
We didn’t do all of that. But we painted the house. Actually, Marcus did most of the work! Thanks, it looks fantastic!
We fled from a thunderstorm today. This means just another 40 minutes uphill walking again tomorrow!
Good planing is when you have just a little time to do some sightseeing while working in the field. This was the case today. I made a detour to a village called Undredal. They have the smallest stave church in Norway. Until some years ago, the only access to this place was by boat. And they produce delicious goat cheese.
